There's more to this story and it will all be revealed in the epilogue! But if you're one of those "ugh why the fuck did you put in a romance storyline? I don't wanna read that!" types, you can take January-April off from the comic and probably still understand the repercussions of this event. The epilogue was only supposed to be like 7 pages... but it got out of hand.
