Friendly reminder that this isn't a kids comic!

Since we know the fate of Ivanhoe's family (well, 3/4 of them), I can finally stop being so cagey about what happens in this comic! There's a lot of Not Nice Stuff that's going to happen in this comic. It's going to be a long while before we see how this event really affects Marina and Chuck, but what I will say, it's extremely traumatic for the both of them.

When we first meet Marina, she's seducing men to rob them and wanted by the Miami police. Throughout the comic we start seeing a softer side from her, especially when Ivanhoe gets shot and after her parents' apartment is torched. The chapter 3 epilogue is going to focus on Marina and Georgio during summer 2005 and we'll learn a lot more about who Marina is and why she turned to a life of crime (and her regrets).
